Where are you located?

We are a mobile service so if you live or work in Melbourne, we can mostly come to you! We do have our office to carry out the paperwork and manage our systems which is located in 50a Princes hwy, Eumemmerring Vic 3177 *by Appointments only*

What services do you offer?

Whether you need to buy or sell, if you don’t want to go to a Dealership to get Trade in Prices or deal with strangers asking about your car, our Personalised Car Buying and Car Selling Solutions can help you achieve competitive prices, with an affordable and hassle-free experience.

How much my car is worth?

You can request your free valuation today and we’ll give you a second opinion on the approximate private sale value of your car, based on the details of your vehicle and the current market. We can arrange for an appointment to view the vehicle and give you a better idea of what the valuation is after filling out this form.

Do you do trade-ins?

No, we don’t do trade-ins because we are not a Dealership or Wholesaler.

What happens if someone wants to view the car?

A Find Me Cars team member will contact you to arrange a viewing time with the potential buyer.

The options are as follows:

  1. We arrange to pick up your vehicle and meet the potential buyer at an agreed location (more common ares such as petrol stations)
  2. We can move the car at our premises for potential buyers to view for the fixed time.

Who gets the call?

A Find Me Cars team member will be assigned to take care of the sale process and will take all incoming calls regarding your vehicle and in most time buyers try to negotiate the price first which we will handle and filter out the time wastes to the best of our ability.

Are you able to sell a car with Finance owing?

Depending on how much you have owing and the private sale value of the vehicle, we can assess if we can help you sell the car for more than you owe.

What happens if they want to drive the car?

This is the most dangerous and nervous part for all of us as the vehicle is in some else hands for the duration of the test drive, But we have done this many many times over and have worked out great method to protect our self and your vehicle. Please ask us how.

When someone buys my cars is it a private sale?

Yes, any car that we sell is a private sale. Prices do not include on-road costs.

Are you a Dealership or a Wholesaler?

No, people call us personal Auto-Advocates or Agents because we provide Personalised Car Buying and Car Selling Solutions.

Can I sell the car without a Road Worthy Certificate (RWC)?

No. In Victoria the law states that a Road Worthy Certificate must be provided for all registered vehicles at the time of transfer.
If the car is unregistered, then RWC is not needed.

What are your fees once the vehicle is sold?

It is our job to try to get you the highest possible price in the market for your car and the commission will be calculated at the time of the deposit/sale of the car.

Do you keep/store the vehicle for me?

No, we are not able to store the vehicle. We normally try to work around your availability.

Our Terms & Conditions for our service

You agree to our Terms & Conditions

      1. By providing the details in this form, You (Client) declare that all the information You have provided is true and correct to the best of your knowledge. You will accept responsibility if any changes are made without notifying Find Me Cars in writing (SMS/Email) beforehand. You are aware this could lead to the removal of your advertisement, incur editing fees or voiding the contract between Find Me Cars and yourself.
      2. Find Me Cars is not bound to publish your advertisement until it is accepted by the FindMeCars team. Your advertisement is accepted when the Find Me Cars team publishes it. Although Find Me Cars will try to notify you, they reserve the right to delete or edit your advertisement at any time without notification. Upon successful sale of your item, advertisement may be deleted by Find Me Cars according to their own discretion or used in future media publications at their will online or offline.
      3. If you have created an Carsales Ad prior to Find Me Cars been appointed, We require you to delete the advert, as we can not check your account and act immediately regarding the enquiry which will have an effect on a successful sale. All our packages include a Standard Carsales package which costs us $68.
      4. You are aware that as a Client of Find Me Cars and Find Me Group, You may receive correspondence regarding the status of your advertisement or general Find Me Cars and Find Me Group related information and will be included in our mailing list for future correspondence. This may include confirmation of the receipt and publication of your advertisement, confirmation of any changes made by you, and notification of possible changes to the status of my advertisement.
      5. If there is any dispute between Third party, Buyer and Find Me Cars, We will not be held responsible for resolving the issue between any Third party and yourself (Client) or be bounded by any Terms and Conditions. The car is your property and have better knowledge then we do regarding the conditions and issues that may relate to the sale of the vehicle, We just represent your vehicle at face value and expect you to provide the correct information regarding the condition of the vehicle. If the buyer is not happy with the sale regarding the vehicle condition or issues, we will try our best to mediate to resolve the issue of the sale but will not enter into any Legal dispute. Private sale conditions apply as per Consumer Affairs Victoria
      6. You hereby assign Find Me Cars team all copyright, photos, information and other intellectual property rights in the advertisement of your vehicle and review. Find Me Cars have the authorisation to use and to publish all material / information supplied by you for the vehicle or review or modify the material.
      7.  Should Find Me Cars choose to advertise your vehicle on Third party websites or online or offline and any other forms of advertising they believe will enhance the chances of successful selling of your vehicle. Find Me Cars will place the advertise as per our discretion and if there is extra cost involved, we will advise you of the cost involved in providing that service prior to it being done.
      8. You will be held accountable for any costs, fees and/or payments incurred for the sale of my vehicle/item. In some cases there will be additional services that may need to be carried out such as Detailing, Damage Repair, Fuel or R.W.C items that would need to be done in order for the sale to take place which we will advice you and get a conformation before things are carried out.  This may also include extra cost for our time/travel costs/service fee which will be billed to you or taken out of the deposit or both. Legal proceeding will be taken against you if payment is not made or/and can impact the sale of your vehicle.
      9. The $195  or $575 packages is a non-refundable payment – Find Me Cars will be investing time, resources and contracting Videographer/photographer also can include marketing such as facebook boosting online  and various other forms of marketing and time which can’t be recovered.
      10. Our Aim is to sell your car in the current market conditions with price that is always in fluctuation depending on buyers and what it is comparable in the market.  We do not do daily or weekly reporting – Instead we contact you when we have qualified enquiry to organise access to your vehicle and may communicate verbally regarding how the sale process is going, Cancellations can’t be avoided and would let you know as to the best of our ability.
      11. Vehicle Price is going to be determined and changed pending on the market response and comparable vehicles in the market and what the buyer is willing to offer. We put a Advertising price but mostly in common practise the price will be lesser then advertise as the negotiation takes place. We will communicate the price and will advice you what is a fair offer to sell you vehicle. You are in control of the price and you ultimately have the last say regarding selling your vehicle.
      12. You can not hold Find Me Cars responsible for achieving a set price for your vehicle. Valuations we provide you with are circumstantial to the current market and are constantly changing. We do not promise price.
      13. If you wish for us to stop advertising your vehicle, due to selling the vehicle by yourself or sold/given to family we will charge you a exit fee of $500.00 as part of cancelling the contract to cover our time and effort gone into the process of selling your vehicle.
      14. If your vehicle has been involved in a serious collision or has V.I.V history or is entered on the Written off Vehicle Register (WOVR), You are required to let us know the details so we can let the buyers know, We will check the PPSR status of the Vehicle for sale. We can Reject to sell your car or we are legally required to let buyers know the status of your vehicle.
      15. I am the Legal registered owner of this vehicle mentioned in this document or have full consent from legal registered owner in writing to allow the sale process to take place and Appoint Find Me Cars as the legal sales agent for this vehicle and give Find Me Cars / Waasi Khan to fill out the paperwork on your behalf regarding this vehicle.
      16. I acknowledge the fact and Agree with the terms that Find Me Cars will not be held responsible if my vehicle is NOT SOLD after using their services and no refunds will be given as Find Me Cars is not the buyer and is merely used as a service to help introduce, assist and facilitate selling my vehicle using services and media available to them.

Our Process, Duties & your Responsibility

      1. We require access to your vehicle from 8:00am to 9:00pm daily and any day of the week, depending on the demand for your vehicle in the market place. We will do our best to provide early notification of our buyer appointment. We do understand your commitments and will respectively work around it if necessary or providing us Set days that we can have access to show the vehicle.
      2. Cancellations can accrue frequently with buyers and your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.
      3. Keeping the Vehicle clean to show buyers – We greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter by keeping the car well presented at all times will increase the difference in selling it soon and at times can mean better sale price.
      4. Advertising on Carsales Standard $68 package is included and we will use other web based platforms to find a buyer (paid/upgrade advertising can be included at an extra cost on top of our package price)
      5. Taking Inbound calls regarding the sale and determine the seriousness of the buyer. We keep your ad updated, reply to potential buyers and discuss the car/ car owner/ history and try to provide as much detail without giving away your Details or Address of the vehicle.
      6. We arrange a time and location for meetup / conduct test drives of the vehicle while keeping in mind, ours as well as clients safety. Viewings are done off site / away from the where the vehicle is kept to protect our client’s privacy unless we are given permission to show the vehicle on premises by the owner and would like to be involved.
      7. We create a Contract Of Sale and take a deposit from the buyer – VicRoads Transfer Forms are to be filled out and kept ready by the Owner of the vehicle. Fees will be deducted from either the Deposit held by Find Me Cars or from the final amount paid to Find Me Cars. An invoice can be issued to you regarding amount due.
      8. Deposit is to be held by Find Me Cars until the sale has taken place but is subject to the following –
        1. This can also be used towards Roadworthy/Repair costs if agreed to by all parties involved.
        2. Can be used to subtract our due fees from the deposit amount.
        3. Should the deal fall through, the deposit will be kept by Find Me Cars for our time and effort at our discretion.
      9. If the potential buyer wants to get the vehicle checked over by a motor mechanic garage or 3rd party vehicle inspection company, You must allow this to take place as this will help bring the sale together or can help determine and issues that needs to be addressed. Please have alternative arrangements for the day the vehicle is booked into. For Example review RedBook Inspections and what they offer to get an understanding.
      10. If You Trade/Swap/disposal/Cash on top/Sold the vehicle we are advertising, You must settle the accounts due before taking the offer up or let us know the deal is taking place so we could let our buyers know and let you know what fees are due. We may have rejected offers that would have been greater or better in your favour and at the time we did not see it fit for you at that given time.
      11. Arrange for collection of vehicle with the Buyer and how the remaining balance is paid for via Cash or Bank. Cash, Bank Transfer or Bank Cheque are the accepted methods of payments unless otherwise stated and agreed to prior with the seller.
      12. Our Fair Policy is intended to ensure that our customers do not use our services in an excessive, unreasonable or fraudulent manner or in connection with other business/equipment that has not been approved by us. Such usage may impact the reliable operation of our network and/or the quality or reliability of our services. Generally, legitimate use of our services for their intended purposes for which they are supplied to you will not breach our Fair Policy.
      13. If any disputes occur during the sales process or 14 days after the vehicle has been sold, we will use our resources to best resolve the issue and bill the additional cost to the Owner or Buyer pending outcome of the dispute and what terms have been agreed.
      14. We don’t claim to own the vehicle and only represent it to our best knowledge and inspection conducted, it is our clients responsibility to be upfront with Find Me Cars about any issues/ costs/ finances owing/ accident history/ fines/ tolls/ repair history or legal ownership of the vehicle in this form.
      15. Find Me Cars can terminate the contract at anytime verbally or in writing if we believe the client has committed misconduct or has not followed our sale process as agreed upon signing this contract.
      16. Insurance for the vehicle is covered by the registered vehicle owner, Find Me Cars does not cover for any damages or losses during or conducting Test drive or transport of the vehicle or storage of the vehicle.
