The W123 models surpassed its predecessor, as the most successful Mercedes, selling 2.7 million cars before replacement by the Mercedes-Benz W124 after 1985. It was also named “Mercedes-Benz W123: the Finest Saloon Car of the 20th Century” Demand for the W123 was so great, back orders and waiting lists of over a year were common and used cars sold at a premium over the new car list price.

W123.033 – 4 Speed Auto –  M110 6 Cylinder, 2.8 Litre 136kW @ 5800rpm – 240Nm @ 4500rpm which is the HIGHEST power offering in the whole W123 Range.
M110.984 is the engine designation for the double camshaft 6 cylinder engine and comes with the new Bosch K-Jetronic injection system – direct fuel injection nominated with the letter E.
